Bridges/Structural Engineering
R.A. Smith National’s structural engineers are experienced in bridge and structure design, construction engineering and construction monitoring. This diversity in our staff allows us to take our bridge and structure projects from the planning phases, through design, and to completion of construction.
Our engineers have worked on all types of bridge designs, including new structures, as well as rehabilitations and replacements. Our experience includes the design of bridges, retaining walls and sign bridges with expertise in cast-in-place concrete, prestressed/post-tensioned concrete, structural steel, reinforced masonry, and heavy timber structural systems.
